Children's Ministries
"The McFarlin Family of Faith" is solidified by efforts to serve families and instill the concept of family bonds. Family Ministries plans activities that enhance and enrich family life.
The Children's Ministry Team (CMT) meets quarterly to plan events for children as well as give input and guidance for all children's ministries. From Sunday school to Vacation Bible School, Children's Worship to Elements and the Easter Egg Hunt to Sneak Peak. This is an open group and we invite participation and enthusiasm from all.

McFarlin Children’s Ministry is joining the Memorial Run!
- Register your child and/or family on-line for the Kid’s Marathon, at www.okcmarathon.com. You may select your school or enter “other” and McFarlin as your team
- Down load your runner’s log
- Train
- Encourage other’s to join the fun!
- Meet at the Kid’s Fun Zone at 7:45 for a prayer and fellowship with our McFarlin family
- The Kid’s 1.2 mile walk/run begins at 8:15 AM
- Come to church following the run in running clothes and t-shirts
We have maps on the table outside our offices that show an inside and outside 1mile track, at McFarlin. Come to McFarlin to walk/run for your runner’s log.
Hope and Healing for Children and Teens
Today’s children and teens are growing up in uncertain times. They are coping with fears and pains from life experiences. What do we do as families and churches? Where do we direct our children in need? We need to be equipped to listen and encourage our children, as well as lead them down God’s path. Dr. Leanne Hadley will be here February 19-21! Brochures and registration forms are on the table outside the Children’s Ministry offices (room 212) or you can call Kristy Varva or Beth Carter if you are interested in attending the Hope and Healing for Children and Teens training, offered at McFarlin. The cost is only $10 for the entire training and will be well worth your time.
