Congregational Care

Congregational Care encompasses a variety of ways the McFarlin community of faith envelope people with care in order for them to experience help, healing, wholeness and growth. We want to meet the physical, emotional as well as spiritual needs of our congregation. We want to provide support during times of illness, crisis and loss. Pastoral care is part of our response to crisis needs. Our ministers make regular hospital visits. They are available for funerals and weddings, including pre-marital counseling. Some of our ministers are available for individual and family counseling for the short term. Referrals can be made to counselors and appropriate community services.  There are people who visit the disabled, elderly and homebound. Stephen Ministers provide care giving to people who need someone to walk life's journey with them during a time of need.
