Music Ministries
Music plays an important role in our worship and community life. Musical opportunities are provided for every age level in the congregation and include ensembles for many different talents and skill levels. You are invited to be a part of this exciting facet of our church life.
The McFarlin Music Ministry works to create music for worship that helps to open the hearts and minds of the congregation to the word of God. We strive to maintain environments that promote musical and spiritual growth. Through concerts we seek to add new interest among people of the surrounding communities to become a part of the McFarlin family of faith. Through our efforts of innovation and education we strive to reach the youth of Oklahoma for Christ through Music.
Adult Choirs
Chancel Choir: Leads the 10:55 AM Sanctuary Worship each week. Rehearsals: 7:30-9 PM Wednesdays.
Youth Choirs
Chapel Choir (9th-12th grade): Leads the 8:30 AM Sanctuary worship twice a month. Rehearsals: 4:30-6 PM Sundays.
Wesley Choir (6th-8th grade): Leads the 8:30 AM Sanctuary worship once a month. Rehearsals: 5-6 PM Sundays.

Bell Choirs
We have an extensive Bell Choir program with 9 choirs ranging from 6th grade to adults. Rehearsals begin the week of August 26th.
Wesley I Ringers (6th grade) – Mondays at 4 PM
Wesley II Ringers (7th grade) – Sundays at 4 PM
Wesley III Ringers (8th grade) – Sundays at 4 PM
Festival Ringers (9th-10th grade) – Wednesdays at 5:30 PM
Sanctuary Ringers (11th-12th grade) – Wednesdays at 6:30 PM
Miriam Ringers (college students who can read music) – Wednesdays at 7:30 PM
Chancel Bells (adults who can read music) – Thursdays at noon
Carillon Bells (adults who can read music) Thursdays at 6:30 PM
Agape Bells (beginning adults) - Sundays at 6 PM

Children's Music Ministry
Children entering grades K-5 in the fall are invited to participate in one of McFarlin's Children's choirs. These groups offer opportunities for our children to actively participate in worship leadership as well as training in music and religious education.
