Adult Choirs
McFarlin provides both singing and ringing opportunities for all adults, from young adult through senior adult members. Rehearsals are a time for musical and spiritual growth and fellowship.
McFarlin Music Presents the 2010 Summer Choir. You are invited to join with us to sing and lead worship this summer. We will only sing 4 times! If you currently sing in the Chapel Choir, Canticle Singers, and Chancel choir we are counting on you to be the founding members of the group. If you have been interested in music at McFarlin this is your chance to give us a try. The choir is open for high school students, college age and adults. We will sing and lead worship in the Sanctuary services June 27, July 11, July 25 and August 15. We will rehearse for 1 hour on the Wednesday prior to singing from 7-8 PM. Chancel Choir - McFarlin's highly acclaimed adult choir. Sings every Sunday at the 10:55 AM Sunday Sanctuary service, frequently performing major works. Rehearsals - Wednesdays, 7:30 - 9:00 PM.
Canticle Singers - This adult choir sings once a month at the 8:30 AM Sunday worship service and is designed for singers who have less time to commit to a full-time choir but still have the gift of singing to give. The music is easily accessible but spiritually fulfilling. Rehearsals - Wednesdays, 6:15 - 7:15 PM (with the exception of taking June and July off).
Adult Handbells
Chancel Handbell Choir - This outstanding ensemble rings regularly at Sunday worship services and for special events. Rehearsals - Thursdays, 1:00 - 2:00 PM.
Carillon Handbell Choir - A premier handbell choir, this adult group rings regularly at Sunday worship services and for special events. Rehearsals - Thursdays, 5:30 - 6:30 PM.
Agape Ringers - This group is our beginning adult handbell choir. Rehearsals - Sundays, 6:00 - 7:00 PM.
