McFarlin's United Methodist Women unit of over 145 women, in keeping with our diverse membership, is divided into many "circles." We invite you to join us as we minister through mission, and grow spiritually, educationally, and personally.
The UMW Purpose
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the Global ministries of the Church.

Circle Schedules
Circle 1: Contact Susan Carruth, 364-0751. Meets at 9 AM on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month at the church. These young women share studies and activites chosen by the members. Child care available by calling Kristy Varva at 321-3484 in advance.
Circle 2: Contact Sonia Caze, 620-717-4010. Meets at 7 PM on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month at the church. This group of young women share fellowship and participate in UMW studies. Child care available by calling Kristy Varva at 321-3484 in advance.
Circle 5: Chair is Charlotte Kessinger, 321-1348. Meets every Wednesday at 9:30 AM at the church. This group shares fellowship, discussion, prayer, mission projects and studies books with a blend of scripture and modern Christian living.
Circle 6: Chair is Kay Braught, 321-7146. Meets the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of every month at 9:15 AM at the church. This group of mostly retirement age women enjoys UMW mission studies and a caring fellowship.
Circle 7: Contact Peggy Davis, 364-4927. Meets the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of every month at 12:00 PM at the church. The mostly retirement age women of this group share fellowship and a pizza lunch together followed by the UMW mission studies.
Circle 8: Chair Libby Waldenville, 329-7539. Meets the 2nd & 4th Monday of every month at 7:00 PM in a members home. The group consists of mainly working women who share fellowship and UMW studies.
Circle 9: Chair Nina Zapffe, 321-8732. Meets the 2nd Monday of every month at 1:30 PM in a members home. These women of all ages have a love of reading all kinds of good books and they share them through giving and hearing book reviews. They enjoy Christian fellowship and participate in UMW projects.
Circle 11: Chair Gloria Welch, 364-5339. Meets the 2nd & 4th Monday of every month at 9:30 AM in a members home. This active group of retirement age women share a joyful time of fellowship, concern, and learning through UMW mission studies.
Circle 12: Rachel Chavez, 329-8272. Meets the 2nd & 4th Thursday of every month at 10 AM at the church. This group of working and retirement age women enjoy a close and caring fellowship and active participation in UMW unit activities. UMW studies are enjoyed by all.
UMW Circles take a break during the summer. You are invited to come to any UMW circle or unit meeting.
